Lending Libraries: Take a Book, Leave a Book

Lending Libraries, or Little Libraries, are small boxes on posts in your yard, accessible by neighbors, that hold books free for the taking. The “rule” is: Take a book, Leave a book. Some neighbors have a children’s box separate from the adult box, to allow more room for each. The boxes have been a huge hit with books being visited all week long! Each is decorated uniquely and have their own personality. We have 10 boxes spread all around the neighborhood, as you can on the map. If there isn’t one near you, and you are interested in hosting one, let the HOA know. The HOA will pay for the box, installation and the initial purchase of the books. Hosts are responsible for painting the box, filling it with books and general maintenance.
