Thank you Providence Plantation neighbors and friends for making the 5th annual Pineapple Dash 5k a success! This year’s race participants raised almost $2500 to support Teen Health Connection, a nonprofit organization located in Charlotte, that is a healthcare practice that provides medical and mental healthcare and prevention and health education services for adolescents ages 11 to 22.
Approximately 150 runners and walkers took part in this year’s event. This year’s registrants received over $800 in registration prizes, including three tickets to the Coca-Cola 600, compliments of Town and Country Toyota/Scion! And Omega Sports provided gift cards for all of our top finishers, way to go Omega! And way to go Elliott Schultz, the first one to zip over the finish line with a time of 18:05.
Thank you to our many wonderful race volunteers and sponsors whose help and support made this event possible!
